Dad | The Dreamweaver

Writer's picture: The DreamweaverThe Dreamweaver

I took dad to one of my barbershops on the second floor of a large office building.

A group of my apprentices were working on a model and asked if the man who was with me was my father.

They called him over and asked if he wanted to try cutting hair, and he reluctantly agreed.

After a few minutes, my father was really getting the hang of it and seemed to be enjoying the experience.

I’d never seen my father so happy and suddenly he was transformed into a younger man, tall, thin and brimming with a newfound lust for life.

As we were going down the escalator, he asked if he could join the group of apprentices and train to be a barber, to which I gladly agreed.

Then I woke up.
