I was at the train station getting ready to board my train when I passed in front of the newsagent's and noticed something familiar on the counter.
Alone and set atop of a stack of cigar boxes I walked closer to confirm what looked to be a single Bun candy bar, something I hadn't seen---let alone enjoyed---in more than 30 years.
I picked it up and admired the re-designed packaging, something that was new and different from as I remembered it as a child.
I walked inside to the counter and handed it to the young, bearded Pakistani man and held my Apple Watch to the payment terminal until I heard the familiar ring confirming my transaction had been approved.
The young man handed me a bag but as I thanked him and turned away I noticed the bag was oddly too heavy to simply contain the chocolate I had just purchased.
Looking inside of the bag I noticed a sandwich wrapped in aluminum foil and a can of soda and immediately turned around and went back to the counter and advised the young man of the error.
He looked inside of the bag and apologized saying he had assumed that the sandwich and soft drink were mine as the three items were together on the counter.
He asked me to hold my watch in front of the card reader and proceeded to refund the difference.
I thanked him and walked away with my chocolate.
Then I woke up.
