Illinois Mountains | The Dreamweaver

I was watching trains go by at Peterson and Ridge when I ran into an old woman who told me her friend had won a court case and had been given back her property that sat on vacant land near the train tracks just feet from where I was standing.

Then, I found myself in downstate Illinois explaining to another older woman I had recently began dating how she could make money from her property.

I made up a story about a cousin of mine in California who owned a piece of property with land, a large home and swimming pool who had demolished the home, dug up the pool and divided her land into two lots and was building two new homes on the property.

I suggested that the size of the woman's property could be subdivided into four separate tracts—perhaps even eight—where she could build these new micro houses that were becoming popular at the time.

I told her how surprised I was to see such beautiful landscapes in Illinois and how they reminded me of southern California.

Then I woke up.
